Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Colleagues,
The Krefeld Skin Care Days have developed into an institution in the occupational skin protection sector within Germany in the past 25 years. We look back on many congresses with renowned German speakers and participants. The goal has always been a lively exchange regarding the latest scientific knowledge.
We have also prepared an attractive programme for 2017, which is relevant to practice, with speakers from the most varying areas of expertise. In addition, we want the conference to be stronger than ever before by opening with international experts and participants from the areas of science, dermatology and occupational safety – with a common goal in front of us: to improve the prevention of occupational skin diseases worldwide. The break from the previous event location in Krefeld and the new event name International Skin Care Days are the first signs of this new orientation.
The focus of the International Skin Care Days 2017 is on the topic “Behavioural Changes in Skin Protection” in the context of the willingness to comply with important skin protection recommendations, which needs to be improved. This module will enter into the question, for example, of how findings from behavioural change studies can be used in other areas for prevention in skin protection. In addition, the company VILSA-BRUNNEN will grant a view into this topic in practice: the mineral water provider is taking part in a monitoring programme in several of its plants, in order to establish a sustainable skin protection programme for its employees.
We also look forward to welcoming you in a less formal setting, with a boat cruise on the Rhine in the evening.
We would like to cordially invite you and your colleagues to the International Skin Care Days 2017 at Zeughaus Neuss, and we look forward to seeing you and getting to know you.
